Is it healthy to be around someone you’re obsessed with?

I have a friend who is bisexual. He’s still in high school, he’s a senior, and he has feelings for his high school basketball coach. The coach knows and has no problem with it. Only me and the coach know about his orientation But my friend says that he’s obsessed with the coach and thinks about him constantly. He’s also in love with him. Could this obsession be unhealthy, especially if he has to be around him a lot for practice/games. He will never go to a therapist, and his obsession is not the kind where he follows him around or stuff like that.

..I think in any type of healthy minded relationship…there will be elements of some type of an obsession really.
This ain’t gonna be one of em though honestly.
The coach and the young man absolutely need to know that the boundries between instructor and student won’t and shouldn’t ever be crossed realistically…..not ever!!!!
