pension applications

I’m an American who taught in Canada for 20 years. Can I live in Canada?
I moved back to the States some years ago, but my son lives in B.C. I am 62 and collecting pension from Quebec. I want to move close to my son and work in B.C. Do I have to go through the application and wait time to move back to Canada even though I’m a senior? Will I be eligible for health benefits?
Unless you acquired landed immigrant status you will have to reapply. Once you are a Canadian again you will be eligible for regular benefits.
